MARYVILLE, Mo. - A group of local community members will be holding a peaceful protest in Maryville this weekend.
The protest will be held this Saturday at 3 p.m. on the east side of the Nodaway County Courthouse. Residents are told that traffic and roadways will be restricted around the courthouse on Saturday, starting at noon.
The protest is over the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis. Floyd died as a result of a police officer kneeling on his neck and back.
